We caught up with the team behind Pigeon Quest to learn more about their vision, community journey, and how they’re preparing to ruffle feathers at Blockchain Week Rome 2025.

1. What inspired the creation of Pigeon Quest, and how did you come up with the idea of merging real-world impact with the fun, meme-driven side of Web3?
Pigeon Quest started from a casual chat among colleagues passionate about crypto, blockchain, art, and design. We chose the overlooked pigeon as our symbol, aiming to transform its everyday presence in our cities into a fun, culturally rich icon within a Web3 ecosystem that makes a meaningful real-world impact.
2. You’ve combined a memecoin, hand-drawn NFTs, and charity into one project. What’s been your guiding principle in building something this multi-layered and unique?
At Pigeon Quest, unity is key. We combine hand-drawn art, a digital token, and real-world charity to create something beyond traditional NFTs. Every element contributes to building a rewarding loop: NFTs support a cause, and by staking them, holders can earn Pigeon Token—turning engagement into real, measurable value.
3. From dynamic smart contracts to monthly NFT mints, Pigeon Quest is constantly evolving. How has the tech side of the project helped keep the experience fresh and engaging for the community?
The tech behind Pigeon Quest, powered by dynamic smart contracts from Ebisu’s Bay, keeps our project fresh. Monthly NFT mints introduce new works of art and encourage our community to influence our feathered friend’s evolving look, ensuring every release is a collaborative and engaging experience.
4. Why did you choose Cronos Chain to launch $PIQ and build the Pigeon Quest universe? What advantages has Cronos offered for your kind of creative + real-world impact project?
Cronos Chain was an obvious choice for Pigeon Quest. Its robust, fast, and cost-effective infrastructure seamlessly integrates DeFi and NFTs, enabling us to expand our universe efficiently. 6. You’ve built a passionate following around your NFTs, memes, and even your charity work. How has the community responded—and what’s been your biggest learning or challenge so far?
Our community’s engagement has been amazing—they grow with us, shaping our creative journey every step of the way. We’ve learned that community input is vital for innovative engagement, and being entirely self-funded in such a competitive space has added its challenges. Yet, their passion turns obstacles into rewarding milestones.
7. Looking ahead, what’s next on the roadmap for Pigeon Quest? Any key features, utilities, or drops we should be watching for?
Next up, we’re focused on listing $PIQ on major CEXs and launching our Pigeon Quest e-commerce platform. Holders will use Pigeon Token to buy exclusive merch at discounted rates, bringing real utility to the token and rewarding the Pigeon Community for their continued support.
