Ebisu’s Bay, the multifaceted platform that seamlessly integrates an NFT marketplace, decentralized exchange (DEX), and immersive GameFi experiences has announced its 2025 Roadmap.
The platform is on track with its vision, announcing the launch of the daily quests feature earlier today:
Launched in tandem with Cronos’ mainnet, Ebisu’s Bay has rapidly evolved to become a central hub for users seeking to engage with digital assets and interactive gameplay.
Within the Cronos ecosystem, its gamified approach and commitment to innovation fosters a vibrant digital economy, enabling growth, adoption and community engagement.
Here is what Ebisu’s Bay has in store for 2025:
Quarter 1: Strengthening Engagement, Expanding Utility
The first quarter of 2025 has seen continuous improvements and new feature rollouts.
Several initiatives from December 2024 carried over into January, including the relaunch of the Ryoshi Tales: Mystic Sea Dragons collection on Cronos zkEVM and vault boosts that allowed users to earn Koban by sending their Ryoshi to Bank Vaults, along with FRTN to LP Vault conversions for improved liquidity.
In January, fully customizable, dynamic Ryoshi Avatars were introduced to enhance the Ebisu’s Bay experience, giving users more control over their in-game identities. The Chinese New Year was marked by a holiday-themed 12 Zodiac Animal Collection Ryoshi Tales release, adding a festive touch to the platform.
The end of February brought a revamp of the daily check-in system, introducing daily quests and loot crates to incentivize participation. Another key milestone is the upcoming launch of the VENO distribution system, enabling vAssets holders in DEX Liquidity Pools on Cronos zkEVM to receive payouts. A series of land updates are also in progress, set to roll out in the coming months.
In March, Ebisu’s Bay will introduce advertising purchases and platform voting using Mitama, giving users more influence over platform decisions. The team will also complete the necessary requirements for a CoinMarketCap listing and implement a DEX upgrade to source the best available on-chain liquidity by the end of Q1.
Quarter 2 and Beyond: Expanding Gameplay & Trading Features
The second quarter of 2025 will kick off with the launch of the unique NFT collection Ryoshi Tales: Tavern Dweller. . Users will also gain the ability to use Moggy Money to participate in a weekly trading simulation game, bringing a new interactive element to the Ebisu’s Bay experience.
As the quarter progresses, Hero Quests will be introduced upon leveling up. Additionally, the long-awaited limit order feature will go live, enabling users to execute seamless trades with more precision. The launch of Tavern Games will introduce daily games playable with Ryoshi Playing Cards, further enriching the gaming landscape.
One of the most anticipated updates is the Ryoshi Dynasties Leagues, where players will earn higher listing rewards based on their team’s performance.
Looking ahead to the second half of 2025, a more advanced Hero Arena will replace the existing system supported by Flipsuite, offering enhanced gameplay. Another major highlight will be the Hero Cloning feature, allowing users to combine two of their favorite heroes to complete tasks, opening new strategic possibilities for players and collectors alike.
