Here is the latest updates from the Cronos ecosystem this week, from partnerships to upgrades:
1. First X Space of 2025
Cronos chain held its first Cronos stream this year on 21 January 2024. The stream was aimed at builders to enable them to explore products they can leverage and to enhance their understanding of ecosystem partners. The conversation was hosted by Kem Timsit, Head of Cronos Chain and Emily Sit, Ecosystem Development Manager.

2. Cronos zkEVM joins deBridge laaS
In a milestone partnership for blockchain interoperability, Cronos zkEVM became the 6th blockchain network to be live on deBridge laaS, a turnkey solution on leading cross-chain swap application deBridge.

3.Cronos zkEVM upgrades successfully
The next generation zero knowledge layer-2 blockchain upgraded successfully on 22 January 2024 to integrate zksync’s newest release. The upgrade positions Cronos zkEVM as one of the prominent leading-edge Layer 2 solutions for Ethereum.

4.Bridge & Win: $1,000 Giveaway with Symbiosis
Symbiosis.fi, a cross-chain engine and liquidity protocol, enables seamless asset bridging across blockchains. On 23 January 2025, Emiliy Sit and Vasiliy GK led a live hands-on tutorial on how to build an AI-powered blockchain agent for the Cronos EVM, powered by thirdweb Nebula.

6. Interlude Preview: P2E Adventure on Cronos
